Fimbul is a third-person action/adventure game based on Norse mythology, with a focus on narrative and immersion. It was developed in Unity, for PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, and released in 2019.
I managed the audio direction and production, for both SFX and music. We used Wwise, often trying different solutions that could provide good optimization and still guarantee design flexibility for me. We sometimes had to modify Wwise’s own scripts to fill in “grey areas” of their implementation. Challenging times, but rewarding nonetheless!
